Used the reference material and Google Maps – Earth View to locate the village of Lagoa Sêca on highway BR-277 (to Ponta Grossa). Used the Google Maps - What's Here Tool to find the coordinates of the approximate geographic center of the village (-25.447968, -51.925602). Because Lagoa Sêca does not have defined spatial boundaries on Google Maps, used the Google Maps – Measure Distance Tool to approximate the linear extent of the city by measuring from the selected center coordinates to the approximate geographic center of the nearest named place, Campo Real (-25.450803, -51.799474), then halving this distance. Input: coordinates (-25.447968, -51.925602), coordinate precision (0.00001 degrees), datum (WSG48), linear extent (6.3 km), and measurement error (0.01 km) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius (6311 m).
