GUYANA. Region: Cuyuni-Mazaruni. Partang River from confluence
with Mazaruni River to impassible rapids 1 mi. up Partang (mouth
5041'21.5MN, 60°17'11.1"W, 493m; to rapids 5°41'46.1"N, 60o16'41.4"W,
495m). 495 m. 5041'46.1"N 60°16'41.4" W. Riparian downriver; scrub
forest and rooky outcrops and bluff upriver; white sand and laterite,. Tree
to 7m. Frequent along river. Inflorescence at base of terminal leaves in
spike, pale yellow. Petals white, anthers pale brown. Silica sample.
