Bear Snail:
You are lucky to get even that much W. cathcartiana
from the type locality« You see, after the species was pub-
lished, every fern amateur had to have a specimen for their
herbarium, and they just about cleaned it out, and the poor
thing has never been able to recover its original abundance*
I thought a clever artist could reconstruct the frond from
several incomplete ones* If you don't like it, send it back
and I will send it to Tassar College, to have a book written
about it«
