Cataphyll rosy, sometimes purple-spotted, adax. pinkish. Petiole stiff, subterete, red-purple toward apex. Leaf blade pergameneous, midrib si. convex, adax.; abax. glossy med- ium green; reflexed on petiole. InfIs. 2-3 together; spathe 9 cm long in anthesis; tube 5 cm long, outside dark red bordered green, blade greenish-cream, inside similarly colored. Spadix slender, 1 cm shorter than spathe, rather slender, stipe dark crimson.
