Moist soil about rocks near the Yuba river below Cisco, ele-
vation about 5500 feet, the trees Pinus Jeffreyi, incense cedar and
white fir. Ceanothus cordulatus and Quercus vaccinifolia are the
common shrubs, the rocks granite.
