SELVA BAJA CADUCIFOLIA. Thorn scrub along now dry
canyon, now very dry and most trees without leaves.
Clinging to rocky cliff by many adventitious roots.
Petioles 80-85 cm. long, terete, light green with darker
green marks; inflorescences 2 or 3 per leaf, closed,
the spathe purple where surrounding the female part.
