ILo Climbing epiphyte to 7 m. high in a small tree, with pendulous branches and erect in- florescences; spathe completely enclosing spadix, surfaces of spadix whitish and smelling like a cheese spread. Leaves at flowering nodes vaginate basally. Banana and cacao plantations on level areas between Siquerres and the Rio Pacuare, and remnant forest on steep hills south of the railroad bridge over the Rio Pacuare, at 50-100 m. altitude. Prov.
