Forest edge, scandent vine in thicket, with
watery sap, inflorescence erect, spathe green
outside, red-purple inside (darker at base),
closed except open slightly at tip in anthesis,
constricted in middle, spadix constricted in
middle * upper Q0% white, lower part dull green-
white, in anthesis white part of spadix
