In rich (but still rather disturbed) understory of secondary forest dominated by mixed hardwoods and older Pinus. With abundant Athyrium, Polystichum, Thelypteris noveboracensis, common Dennstaedtia, Aesculus, poison ivy, etc. 36.41868 N -81.38814 E +/-30m. WGS84. 1010 m elevation. Duplicates: 2: to DUKE, NY.
