New River, at the Wagoner Rd access. Approximately 150m NW of the parkmg lot,
along the Running Cedar Trail. Common. In rich (but still rather disturbed) understory of
secondary forest dominated by mixed hardwoods and older Pinus. With abundant
Athyrium, Polystichum, Thelypteris noveboracensis, common Dennstaedtia, Aesculus,
poison ivy, etc.

Duplicates: 2: to DUKE, NY. Sample silica-dried, from the population. Material fixed, from this plant, for
chromosome study.
