Description
Gregarious. Pileus 15-20 mm broad, convex to plano-convex, dry, finely matted subtomentose, with pulverulent bright sulfur yellow veil remnants, these soon disappearing with age, pink to pale red. Flesh white, changing to blue in part, with mild odor and taste. Hymenophore tubulose. Tubes yellow to greenish yellow, cyanescent, up to 8 mm long. Pores concolorous or some rarely pale pink, cyanescent. Stipe 3.5-4 cm long, 3-5 mm broad, equal or tapering below, dry, pink beneath bright sulfur yellow pulverulent veil remains, fibrillose striate, with bright yellow basal mycelium; interior yellow unchanging. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
