-SELVA ALTA PERENNIFOLIA. Well-preserved forest and
adjacent disturbed areas on calcareous hills.
Unbranched tree 6 m. tall, 10 cm. in diameter at base,
with soft wood; leaves in single terminal tuft. No flowers
or fruit.
