Collections from an apparent single clone 9 x 10 m.,
with many stems, the largest to 2.5 m. tall, 2.5 cm.
in diameter; plants hedgelike, trimmed by cattle grazing.
Leaves with sharp aromatic odor, appear to be greener
and healthier than those of female clones with abundant
fruits in similar nearby habitats. Rachis, petiole and
major veins red.
Pasture slope, a common and persistent shrubby "weed".
