Dracontium changuango Bunt.
Only infructescences present (without foliage), apparently near
maturity; from corms. Spadix to 16.5 cm long & 5 cm thick, stipe
1.5 x 1.5 cm, it and axis pinkish or greenish white, old spathe
persistent but dry; largest spadix with ca. 170 fruits. Fruits
apically flat but for a central concavity, dark brown, or green
dotted with brown, downward green & finally white in basal half,
to 1.7x1.6 cm, each well defined, outer margins angular; fruits
of various lengths making surface of spadix irregular. Cf. Bunt.
