District (37), Environs Shromis Khevi, ca 41°51'186 N, 46° 16' E,
ca 820 m.. Mixed forest Carpinus caucasica, Pterocarya
pterocarpa, Fagus orientalis, Stachys sylvatica, Oplismenus
undilatifolius.
Tuberous perennials. Leaves petiolate, purplish. Lamina oblong -
hastate, obtuse to sulcate. Spadix with elongate, conical to
cylindrical appendix, with numerous sterile flowers above and
below male flowers. Sterile flowers whitish - yellow. Fruit a red
berry.
