Yorkville, east of Silver Springs State Park. Elevation
650 feet. Loam over gravelly glacial till.
Margin of secondary forest, hedgerow, with Acer
negundo, Alliaria, Bromus inermis, Celtis
occidentalis, Comus racemosa, Festuca obtusa,
Fraxinus, Geum canadense, Juglans nigra, Morns
alba, Prunus ame ricana, P. serotina, Vitis rip aria.
Common shrub 2-3 meters, fruit green. Plant with
skunky aroma.
