Sichuan Province, Daocheng Xian, Gongling: Vicinity (down-
stream) of the town of Gongling. 28°36T’E, 100°17’12”N;
3300 m. Spiny-aromatic shrub thickets and moist ravines with
Rosa, Sophora, Berchemia, Princepia and shrubby Lamiaceae.
Thickets and moist ravines. Plants in deep stony loam soil, often
difficult to collect tuber. Spathe purple with pale green stripes
inside.
