Habitat
On slope at base of northermost hills, clay and gravelly soil. Secondary and remnants of tropical evergreen forest, with some remnant Astrocaryum.

Description
Small tree 7 m tall, 20 cm in diameter, with thick, wide crown. Abundant yellow-green buds but not open flowers.
