draw between Columbine Spring and Camp Lupine.
Mount San Antonio 7.5' USGS quadrangle; T3N R8W,
W/2 SW/4 SE/4 section 24; elev. ca 6700-6960 feet.
Divaricately branched shrub to ca 8 dm tall, not
uncommon locally on the granitic slopes; mature fruits
deep purplish-red.
