Bunting Jardi'n Botanico de Maracaibo, 1983 PLANTAS DE VENEZUELA ^ ^ Anthurium subtrilobum Schott Epiphyte with long stem 3 m up tree trunk, in dense shade, inter- nodes alternately 1.5-4 and ca. 0.5 cm long, 2 cm diam., grayish & bare. Cataphyll 12 cm long. Petiole slender, stiff, x 8 mm (mid- pt.), subterete but adax. sulcate, channel with gentle borders; geniculum 2-2.5 x 1 cm & sulcate. Blade relatively thin, subcori- aceous, undulate, glossy adax., rib convex x 4 mm & near base thickened to form a genicular plate with the other radiating lat- eral veins; posterior lobes nude 5 cm in sinus; abax. blade very glossy, midrib yellowish & rounded.
