near top of ridge, 3 miles SE of Richland
Center. T 10 N; R 1 E; NWNW sect. 36.
Shrubs 1.4 m. tall in a dense clump, usually
pruned by cows. Fruit purplish-brown, edible
"gooseberries". Voucher for wood specimen,
MADw 47548. Voucher for bulk medicinal
screening by Pfizer: 43669a ST (Nee-283);
43669b LF+TW (Nee-284).
