semishade on weedy bank between roadbed
gravel and right-of-way. Associates: Poly-
tum biflorum, Smilacina racemosa. Ribes
isouriense, Prunus virginiana, Vitis ripar-
Heracleum lanatum. Zizia aurea, and
Abandoned railroad
right-of-way through
former prairie area,
completely overgrown,
the E side with a few
individual prairie
plants barely persistin'
theW side quite wooded, with treesnow
reaching 10 m tall and patches of under-
story herbs (Hydrophyllum virginianum, f-|-J
