T 9 N; R 1 E; NWH SE'A Sect. 35. 43°12’40”N, 90°20’18”W. alt. 225 m. Scattered shrubs to 1.5 m. tall, a few stems in a loose clump, the lower part of stem bristly-spiny. Flower buds green, hanging. Between Hwy. 60 and the power line, S-facing slope, woods of Celtis occidentalism Juglans nigra, Quercus rubra. Similar to no. 55594 Ribes cynosbati. Coll.: M. Nee 55593 27 April 2008 03771782
