Scattered shrubs to 1.5 m. tall, a few stems in a loose clump,
the lower part of stem bristly-spiny. Flower buds green,
hanging. Between Hwy. 60 and the power line, S-facing slope,
woods of Celtis occidentalism Juglans nigra, Quercus rubra.
Similar to no. 55594 Ribes cynosbati.
