terrestrial. Locally frequent around large rocks,
leaf blades erect, coriaceous, rich green above -with
prominent impressed nerves and dull brick midrib, bei-Qi|
low pale green -with fleshr-brick raised midrib. Petiole
pale green at base, becoming fulvous-yellow above, en»
larged at junction mth blade. Peduncle h mm* diam#,
flesh-brick; spathe spreading, siib coriáceo us, brick-
pen dwarf forest, north-facing slopes on summit above valley of Caño
Mojado
