near La Rochela, along Delicias-Rubio Highway;
72026'W', 7°35'N; elev. 1850-2090 m. Steep forested
slopes along quebrada. Perennial ca. 1 m tall;
petioles circular in x-section; spathes erect,
reddish when young, pink when open, whitish
with a pink tinge when fruiting; fruit white;
spadix dull greenish brown to yellowish brown.
