A robust shrub c. 3-4 feet high. Flowers yellow in
red large bracts in condensed spikes.
Locality: Koh Kong Province, on the way to Koh
Kong-PNH road, c. 50 km from the provincial city.
Habitat: Growing by the roadside forest in shady
areas.
