Southeast-facing mountain slope composed of large andesite
boulders and talus, completely unvegetated except for small
scattered patches of Picea engelmannii and Pinus aristata, with
sparse understory containing Jamesia americana, Holodiscus
dumosus, and Ribes spp.
Shrubs ca. 1 meter tall; occasional among boulders and under
conifers.
