Stem x 3.5 era, internodes 1-1.5 cm long, clean & bare. Petiole 84 cm long, subterete though laterally compressed & narrowly sulcate adax. and on one sided), mottled finely with red-maroon that fades green in age; geniculum near-terete, 4-5 x 1.6-3 cm. Blade reflexed on pet., not thick, somewhat brittle, glossy adax., rugose, midrib narrow-convex, basal ribs nude 5 cm in sinus; abax. glossy silvery-green, nerves tinted rose; 81 x 56 cm. Peduncle terete, more slender than pet., mottled reddish. Spathe spreading, green, abax. glossy with rib red-purple, 29 x 4.3-4.8 cm. Spadix lilac-brownish, 30 x 2.3 cm; pistils slight- ly exserted, obtuse-subtruncate, greenish.
