GUYANA. Potaro-Siparuni Region. Mt. Wokomung, plateau above first
of four escarpments. Elevation: 1135 m. 5°6'36.3"N 59°49'14.1"W.
Dense, single-tiered canopy forest on gray sandy clay, peat, and
sandstone, with Clusia, Moronobea and Euterpe. Holoparasitic shrub,
fruits and peduncle bright red except orange on adaxial surface of petals,
stigma, and style.
