Now in cultivateion at MO. 800 - 1000 m Internodes short, 1 cm diam.; petioles slightly thicker than broad, narrowly and obscurely sulcate, dark green, semiglossy; blades stiffly subcoriaceous, dark green and matte, weakly subvelvety above, slightly paler and weakly glossy below; midrib concolorous, bluntly acute at base, Thomas B. Croat 81400 MISSOURI BOTANICAL BARDEN HERBARIUM <M0> more acute and thicker than broad toward apex above, narrow—rounded and paler below; primary lateral veins narrowly convex both sides below; tertriary veins weakly raised below; inflorescence erect; spathe green, erect; spadix pinkish. 15 October 1997 Thomas B.
