Anthurium bredemeyeri Schott
Terrestrial. Stem erect or procumbent, to 15 cm long or more, green
throughout with fibrous cataphyll remains persistent, x 1.5 cm. Pet-
iole erect, slender, adax. sulcate. Blade leathery, dark green,
slightly corrugate, semilustrous adax.; abax. glossy, slivery-green,
densely black-dotted. Peduncle striate-dashed red-purple downward,
intensified upward. Spathe dark red-purple adax., slightly greenish
abax., reflexed-spreading, 6.3 x 1.5 cm, undulate. Spadix 10.3 x 0.5
cm, olive suffused rosy-purplish. Common.
