Anthurium crassinervium (Jacq.) Schott Large rosulate epiphyte ca. 3 m up on tree trunk. Petiole to 34 cm long, 3-carinate on abax. face, adax. deeply angular-sulcate, sides flat subparallel, 1.5 cm thick, 1.3 cm wide; geniculum 3 cm long & same shape as pet. but 2.2 cm thick & 1.8 cm wide. Blade to 1 m long, 42 cm wide (62 cm above base), leathery-brittle, glos- sy, midrib 1.3 cm wide with median ridge, abax. scarcely glossy with midrib strong & 3-carinate esp. in basal 1/3. Inflorescences solitary (now dry). Spathe (dry) reflexed. Edo. ARAGUA: Parque Nacional Henri Pittier: near Ran- cho Grande, on steep slope immediately behind (above) the Rancho, in tall cloud forest.
