    Stem solitary, 5 m tall, 7.3 cm diam, smooth, gray. Leaves 11; sheath 75 cm long, fibrous at apex; petiole 57 cm long; rachis 3.05 m long; pinnae 94 per side, clustered and spreading at different angles. Inflorescences interfoliar. Fruits green. Young plants with very distinctive long, narrow, entire leaves. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
