    On gentle east-facing slope. With Petradoria, Purshia, Pinus and Ribes. In limestone marl soil.

  • Description

    Perennials with thickened, unbranched caudices; leaves of basal rosettes largely glabrous; leaves of central tuft with coarse simple and branched trichomes; petals lavender-purple, to 7 mm long; pollen ± uniform, formed in tetrads; fruiting pedicels spreading, nearly glabrous, to 6 mm long; fruits pendulous, to 2 mm wide; seeds irregularly biseriate. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
