Vermejo Park Ranch: on north side of an unnamed ridge 1.9 air mi due N of Underwood Lakes and 0.4 air mi S of Colorado. 36.988724° N, 105.207718° W; WGS 84, GPS reading Volcanic rock outcrop on northwest-facing slope in forest of Abies arizonica and Pinus aristata, with Ribes montigenum, Rosa, and Saxifraga bronchialis var. austromontana; adjacent forest previously clearcut. Plants entirely deep greenish-purple; flowers dark purple; local in old clearcut with both normal green-leaved plants and white- flowered plants. Photographed.
