T 10 N; R 1 E; SWA SE% sect. 21.
Thin deciduous woods with Juglcms nigra, Tilia americana,
Fraxinus americana, Prunus virginiana, Juniperus
virginiana.
Flowers nodding, pinkish, closed (9:00 A.M., sunny).
Flowers reminiscent of those of Claytonia virginiana (this
species not seen in the immediate vicinity but it is native in
the region).
