Scattered jack pines. Shrubs: Juniperus spp., Prunus pennsylvanica, Amelanchier, Rosa. Ground cover plants: Cladonia, Cetraria, Arctostaphylos uva-ursi. Frequent. Limestone outcrop area. Much bare rock, or rock covered by shallow residual soil.

Description
Shrub to 3 ft with braches reclining for about half their length, then ascending, reclining portion rooting at nodes. Male. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
