Township, hamlet of Montauk, Amsterdam Beach Preserve, coastal
plain poor fen. (41.05074^, 71.90093^).
Perennial graminoid: leaves 4 mm wide, bristles tawny; involueral
bracts scabrous, 3; associate species Sagittaria engelmanniana.
Rhynchospora alba, Juncus canadensis, Dulichium amndinaceurn,
Sphagnum sp., Vaccinium macrocarpon, Triadenum virginicum,
Drosera intermedia, Ludwigia palustris, Thelypteris palustris and
Osmunda regalis. Growing in several colonial clusters. Root
portion not collected to preserve plant.
*Note- very rare, only station known to collector.
