Ferreira 2015 Guyana, Cuyuni-Mazaruni, Tulameng Mtn., along rocky creek on eastern foot, near Camp 6, ca 5km east of summit (summit 1534m, N 5°33'27.1", W 60°59'34.7"). 5° 33' 10"N, 60° 57' 32” W Elev. 910 m. Moist forest rich in epiphytes and lithophytes. Erect shrub. Flowers and fruits axillary, fasciculate. Calyx green with purple pilose hairs.
