On steep, west-facing, mixed pine-hardwood slope;
along intermittent stream flowing north into
Beaverdam Creek. Site #32 (Lat. 34°05,05M; Long.
82043f15n), about one mile east of County Road 245
and 4 miles west of the Savannah River. Below the
475-ft. contour (full-pool for the proposed Richard
B. Russell Lake).
