Elevation 3079 a. Flat ground with very
fravelly soil and little vegetative cover,
olcanic substrate. Associated with
Agropyron scribneri, Draba oligosperaa, Poa
cusickii, Ivesia gordonii, Phlox pulvinata,
Agoseris glauca, Oenothera caespitosa, and
Calyptridiua um&ellata.
Common. Perianth white.
