Dry ridge above headwater seeps of unnamed tributary to
South Saluda River. Characterized by open-canopy rock
outcrops with occasional seeps and a variety of prairie/marsh
herbaceous vegetation. Site is appx. 0.3mi NE of the northern
junction of Persimmon Ridge Rd. and US 276 which is NE of
Bald Rock and SW of Caesars Head. Persimmon Ridge
