GLASS MOUNTAIN REGION: Along FS Rd. 30E10, between
Clover Patch and Kelty Mdws., grassy grazed campsite near (dry)
water trough and mining prospects. Conspicuous white quartz
veins nearby. (Watterson Cyn. quad: 37° 43.943'N, 118°
38.038'W; T2S R30E S35, SW/4 of NE/4). Alt.: 2700m/8856ft.
Grazed, partially fenced meadow by damp spring. Gentle
ESE-facing slope. Scattered Populus tremuloides stands amid
scrub vegetation of Artemesia tridentata, Purshia tridentata,
Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus, Ephedra viridis, Symphoricarpos
rotundifolius, Ribes cereum, Crepis.
Common under Aspens, Flws lavendar-violet.
