Habitat
summit area dominted by mossy gnarled forest of Bubbia howeana-Lepidorrachis mooreana-Dracophyllum fitzgeraldii-Hedyscepe canterburyana with upper slopes of Meterosideros nervulosa, Melaleuca howeana, and Cassinia tenuifolia. Lower slopes and the Erskine Valley of closed rain forest of Drypetes and Cryptocarya. basalt rock exposed on higher slopes.
