Nee, 2017 WISCONSIN, Taylor Co., 11 km (by air) NNE of Perkinstown, Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest,.along Yellow River Road (Forest Road 112), 0.5 km S of junction with Forest Road 538, just N of North Fork of the Yellow River. 45°18’07”N, 90°35’49”W. alt. 410 m. T 33 N; R 2 W, NWttNWVi sect. 35. Flat, marshy area with Typha latifolia, Alnus incana ssp. rugosa, Salix petiolaris, S. discolor. Shrub in a clump or diffuse clump with many slender erect stems to 2.3 m. high, 3.5 cm. in diameter, 7 years old. Voucher, for wood specimens at Kw, Lw, MADw, MEXUw, RSAw.
