floodplain of Kickapoo River, with small lake and swamp
on both sides, with shrubs and small trees invading open
grassy area, Equisetum hyemale, E. arvense, Cornus
racemosa, Anemone canadensis, Corylus americana,
Prunus virginiana, Ribes missouriense.
Common, forming dense populations.
