    Sandstone, metamorphic and quartzite rock outcrops with associated marsh, damp flushes and grassland, and some cut-over mixed deciduous woodland by stream and cerrado. This plant growing at margin of river.

    Tree to 4 m. with perfumed wood. Leaves coriaceous dark green above, pale beneath. Flowers green. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
