Annual herb; corolla white with purple tint, purple veins on petals; anthers indigo blue; style reddish; pistil purple; glandular hairs on edge of capsules and sepals; stems lax at base and rooting at nodes. Growing in association with Medicago lupulina, Cerastium sp„ Sedum acre, Oxalis corniculatus, Potentilla canadensis, Taraxacum officinale and exotic lawn grasses.
