McDill. Near 34° 34’ 08.1”N 118° 17’ 14.2” W. T6NR13WNE
1/4 NE 1/4 sec. 31 and NW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec. 32. Elev. ca. 4600
ft.
North-facing slope on metasedimentary substrate weathering to
rocky loam soil.
Somewhat open scrub of Quercus chrysolepis, Q. garryana breweri,
and Artemisia tridentata with numerous open grassy areas.
Shrub with red berries. Common.
