Open area on gentle slope with Pinus resinosa, Pteridium
aquilinum.
Loose clump, 2 m. tall, with many slender stems, 1.5 cm. in
diameter, 3 years old. Voucher for wood specimens at Kw,
Lw, MADw, RSAw. Pistillate.
