Habitat
Medium tropical evergreen forest on flat, the soil fine sandy and clay. With Phenacospermum, Orbignya phalerata.

Description
Tree 28 m. tall, 25 cm. in diam; bark brown, finely fissured or scaly; slash slightly aromatic, tan, without exudate; sapwood white. Flowers +/- odorless, greenish white with yellow anthers.
